8-10 Week Summer Internships for College Students

Our summer internships are designed for college students and recent graduates exploring a call to pastoral ministry. You'll spend 8-10 weeks working alongside an established church plant or church planting pastor, experiencing firsthand what it takes to build a gospel community in one of America's most secular regions.

This isn't just a resume-builder or summer job. It's an opportunity to discern God's call, develop ministry skills, build relationships with network leaders, and fall in love with the Pacific Northwest.

WHAT
YOU’LL
DO

  • Participate directly in church planting work: evangelistic outreach, discipleship relationships, teaching and worship leadership, administrative tasks, community engagement, strategic planning.

  • Work closely with an experienced church planter who will invest in your formation, answer your questions, and help you discern calling.

  • Connect with other interns across the region through regular gatherings, shared learning, and fellowship. You're not doing this alone.

  • Experience the Pacific Northwest—its cities, landscapes, culture, and challenges. We want you to fall in love with this place, because effective ministry here requires genuine affection for the region.

  • Attend focused teaching on church planting, Reformed theology, pastoral ministry, and cultural engagement. Learn from network leaders and experienced planters.

WHAT
YOU’LL
GAIN

  • Many men sense God's call to ministry but haven't tested it in practice. This internship helps you discern whether pastoral ministry—and specifically church planting—is truly your calling.

  • You'll gain hands-on experience in real church planting contexts, building skills and confidence for future ministry.

  • You'll develop connections with planters, pastors, network leaders, and fellow interns—relationships that can last throughout your ministry career.

  • You'll come to understand what makes the Pacific Northwest unique as a mission field and why it requires committed, culturally-aware pastors.

  • For many men, summer internships lead to continued involvement in our network through seminary training and eventual church planting.
